This one-of-a-kind silk painting is the ideal gift for a little child at Christmas time, for a baby shower or for a baby’s 1st Christmas. This original silk art of ‘Santa’s Little Helper’ shows a Christmas stocking full of toys with your chosen name written on it!

Please note this artwork is an example of stocking patterns and colours available for you to choose. I can personalise the stocking with your child’s name and paint a different array of toys shown in the stocking + a choice of colours for the stocking itself and surrounding mounting card. N.B. Please be aware that if you are requesting a specific colour and pattern on the stocking that this will take a few days to do and dry before I can post the item to you and as a personalised gift, I cannot accept refunds.

Mounted on high quality 1500 micron mounting card in either pale pink, pale blue, white, cream, green or black (8 x 6 inches) with a 45° bevelled edge cut aperture for the artwork itself (6 x 4 inches). Comes with white backing card in a protective clear cellophane bag.

I created this beautiful wall art, which is made from real Habotai silk by carefully stretching the silk over an embroidery hoop. I then drew directly onto the silk with gold gutta (outliner). After 8 hours when the gutta is completely dry I hand painted the stocking using specialist Setasilk silk paints.

As this is a real silk painting and NOT a print, it must not come into contact with water or this will stain the silk and damage the painting.
