An original Christmas inspired Silk Painting ‘Two Snowmen and Child’.

This charming silk painting of a snowman family group, of two snowmen and a snow-child, staring up at a star filled winter’s night sky brings a touch of magic to any home. A painting about love and friendship, this original one-of-a-kind silk art makes the perfect gift for a loved one at Christmas or even as a celebration for a child’s 1st birthday!

Mounted on high quality 1500 micron white mounting card (8 x 8 inches) with a circular 45° bevelled edge cut aperture for the artwork itself (6 x 6 inches). Comes with white backing card in a protective clear cellophane bag.

I created this beautifully calm and original wall art, which is made from real Habotai silk carefully stretched over an embroidery hoop. I then drew directly onto the silk with white pearlescent gutta (outliner). After 8 hours when the gutta is completely dry I hand painted the snowmen scene using specialist Setasilk silk paints.

As this is a real silk painting and NOT a print, it must not come into contact with water or this will stain the silk and damage the painting.
